Sardinia

May 19, 2017

Madrid-based fashion and lifestyle photography duo Charles-Edouard Woisselin and Anne-Caroline Laporte from Des Gens en Photo are constantly capturing¬†Europe. Recently, they found themselves on the beach-laden and mountainous Italian island of Sardinia. Enjoy their words and photos…

We decided to focus on the north of the island, particularly the Emerald Coast and the quaint town of Santa Teresa di Gallura. Not only because we see it as the most beautiful part of Sardinia, but also because we like the ridiculous proximity to the French island of Corsica. Through historic and successive conquests, Sardinia and Corsica, grew up more like sisters instead of distant cousins. Looking out from the coast in Santa Teresa di Gallura, you can easily view Corsica’s Bonifacio harbor. You can feel the territorial and cultural connection between the two islands, but this adventure was about experiencing Sardinia‚Äôs beautiful wildness, nature and wonder.
